National Center for Advocacy and Recovery for Behavioral Health, Inc. will help lead efforts to ensure the establishment of an integrated recovery-oriented system of care that provides needed evidence-based behavioral health prevention and recovery services to its residents as a human right. 

We are unable to offer internships.

Behavioral Health & Substance Abuse Care Coordinators (4)- Cape May, Camden, Mercer and Essex Counties

The Care Coordinator conducts behavioral health and substance abuse assessments and treatment referrals.

The Cape May position requires occasional coverage/travel in Atlantic County.

Must hold a Master's in counseling, social work or related field. LPC, LCADC or LCSW with co-occurring experience strongly preferred or documented evidence that a license will be obtained in the next year. Should have at least two years experience in treating substance use and mental health disorders and extensive applied knowledge of The ASAM Criteria, 3rd Ed. and the DSM 5.

Care Coordinators may be required to assist in other counties periodically.

Assistant Care Coordinators (4)-Cherry Hill, Robbinsville, Clifton and Newark

The Assistant Care Coordinator is responsible for processing referrals, arranging assessment schedules, coordinating services and performing administrative tasks. This is a nonclinical position. 

Must possess basic clerical skills and computer skills, including MS Word, Excel and familiarity with the Internet, ability to manage complex schedules, has a thorough understanding and commitment of the 12-Step model of recovery, high school diploma or equivalent. A minimum of 2 years work or volunteer service in the addictions field is preferred. Office experience is required. Bilingual Spanish a plus.
